Education: Minimum BA/BS in biology/life sciences; neuroscience background a plus
Experience: Some editing experience desirable
Location: Prefer someone local, who I can meet from time to time
Frequency: Month-to-month; definitely after each panel meeting (4-5 per year)
Duties: Edit progress reports and publications for correct formatting and accuracy; edit review texts for spelling, grammar, syntax, missing or incorrect words, and to remove scores, reviewer names and affiliations, funding recommendations, and inflammatory language. The tech editor will not change the content except to clarify where needed; major revisions require approval.
