Job Description:
The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, part of the North Shore-LIJ Health System, seeks an accomplished professional to publicize the work of its world-renowned researchers to both external and internal audiences. The successful candidate will be adept at pitching story ideas to medical and science reporters; serve as editor and writer of a research newsletter; and plan, write and oversee the publication of an annual Research Report, among other duties. To qualify, you must have a proven ability to communicate complicated medical and scientific information to a lay audience, experience dealing with NY-area healthcare reporters, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and juggle multiple assignments.
