Job Description:
American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science (ACWIS) seeks a science writer to write and edit content for a variety of ACWIS publications and marketing materials, including fund-raising proposals, website, magazine, newsletters. Our materials are geared towards a general audience.
Candidates should have background in science writing (minimum two years) and a related degree; ability to understand varied fields of science; ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, lay language for general audiences; excellent research, reporting, and verbal communications skills.
