Senior Copywriter Requirements:
Senior Copywriters must have 1 to 3 years of experience working as an advertising Copywriter. Previous direct-to-physician experience and the ability to understand and process healthcare information are strongly recommended. Portfolios should demonstrate strong conceptual abilities, standout creative thinking, and exceptional writing skills. Senior Copywriters should also be comfortable participating and presenting in client meetings.

Candidates must be team-oriented, able to write solid, intelligent, brand-appropriate, and creative pieces in a variety of basic communication forms (sales aids, resource guides) for a variety of audiences (healthcare professionals, patients, consumers).

The Senior Copywriter is the brand champion who solves the strategic and copy issues with the client and enhances the client’s confidence in the company. They contribute strategically to the long-term vision of the brand internally and with the client, taking direction from their supervisor on projects as well as working independently.

Senior Copywriters must also thoroughly understand the assigned brands, indications, therapeutic implications, and competition as well as regularly research trends in the appropriate areas. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
