NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ph.D., PharmD, or MD with prior industry experience
- Fellowship training required
- Strong communication skills (presentation and writing)
- Ability to work independently
- Self-motivated
- Team player
SUPERVISOR: EVP, Director, Medical and Scientific Affairs
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops advisory board reviews, formulary kits, literature reviews, medical convention reports, monographs, slide kits, abstracts, and manuscripts
- Writes solid, intelligent, brand-appropriate, pieces in a variety of communication forms (eg, slide kits, monographs) for a variety of healthcare professionals
- Can quickly gain command of new therapeutic areas
- Strong analytical and statistical skills
- Solicits project opportunities from account, copy and medical teams
- Maintains technical expertise
- Submits copy to supervisor and AE in a timely fashion, with enough time for revisions before copy goes to client
- Leads teammates; maintains a strong relationship with Editorial, Art, Copy, Medical and Account Services
- Follows CDM procedures
- Presents points of view articulately and persuasively within CDM and with client
- Exhibits dress, behavior, and conduct fitting for the role of Medical and Scientific Affairs
- Completes timesheets in a timely fashion
- Exemplifies the values of CDM and contributes to the overall culture of the agency
