Job Description
Communications internship January thru June 2008. You will support product marketing and communications for IBM data server software products. You will be asked to write newsletter and web stories about our products, and about how our customers are using those products in their businesses. And you will assist our team of marketing professionals with additional projects as needed. You should be majoring in journalism, communications or marketing and have experience writing news and feature articles, with a strong writing portfolio to show us. You should know how to conduct an interview in a professional manner and write an article under a tight deadline. This is a wonderful internship opportunity in a leading company, and we are looking for someone who is highly motivated, with a strong work ethic. You must be registered as a fulltime student to apply. The job is located in Somers, New York and is close to the Golden’s Bridge Metro North station.
Key skills should included – Creative Oral & Written Communications, Public Relations or Journalism, Powerpoint skills are a must.
