A careers discussion about taking one’s passion for science into communications careers

Panel discussion on science communications careers followed by Q&A, then networking and information sharing!

Program:

• Sarah Greene — Managing Editor, Journal of Participatory Medicine

• Theresa Wizemann — Principal/President, Wizemann Scientific Communications, LLC

Panelists will discuss the ins and outs of diverse science communications careers that meld science knowledge with skill at communicating/translating it. For each career, discussion will consider both “becoming” and “being.” Then we’ll move into networking mode so that more of SWINY’s scientists-turned-communicators can share their knowledge and experiences with you.
