Job Title:
Part-Time Reporter for Genomics Technology Newsletter, GenomeWeb LLC

Part-time, Financial District

WHO WE WANT: A motivated journalist who can quickly grasp complex scientific and technical concepts and translate them into clear, concise copy. Some business reporting experience is
preferable. You must be able to work under tight deadlines, and experience with a daily or weekly publication is desirable. Some familiarity with genetics or genomics will be helpful. You will be speaking regularly to scientists using and developing these tools, as well as high-ranking officials at companies who manufacture and sell these systems. You will be expected to attend scientific conferences and trade shows in
this field and to develop and nurture sources in academia, government, and industry.

We are seeking a reporter who is able to work approximately 20 hours per week. Your schedule will be determined based on your availability.

WHAT WE OFFER: Flexibility, a relaxed yet competitive environment, excellent exposure, and bylines.
