Job Description:
GenomeWeb News is looking for an experienced journalist to report and write BioInform, an online newsletter covering bioinformatics, computational biology, and life science information technology.

WHO WE WANT:
A motivated science or technology reporter who can break news in this dynamic beat. Experience on a daily or weekly news publication covering biotechnology and/or information technology is preferred. You should have the ability to develop and nurture sources in industry, government, and academia; to grasp complex subjects in computer science and biology; and to work under tight deadlines. Some business reporting experience is desirable.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Cover the companies and organizations that develop, sell, and use software, hardware, and databases to support life science research. You will be filing breaking news in real time as well as longer enterprise pieces on a rolling deadline.
