Job Title:
Publications Writer

Full Time, White Plains, NY

1. Formatting and editing abstracts, posters, slides, manuscripts (to meet congress and journal requirements)
2. Online submissions of abstracts, manuscripts (including collecting and completing all congress and journal forms)
3. Tacking and collating comments from authors
4. Tracking the various versions of abstracts and manuscripts during the writing and reviewing process
5. Keeping track of and meeting deadlines for scientific congresses
6. Working with freelance writers and graphics designers to initiate and track work
7. Pubmed search, retrieving articles
8. Strong project management skills
9. Good email skills (when corresponding with internal and external stakeholders)
10. Good basic graphic skills (PowerPoint, Excel graphics)

• PhD or PharmD (MS with appropriate experience accepted)
• Authored (or co-author, acknowledged) written clinical manuscripts (not solely pre-k), slides, posters (at least 2 years actively involved in that writing)
• Look at CSR and be able to write on clinical study (take the information AFTER the CSR for these things)
• Positions requires to be onsite 5 days a week
• Understand statistical information (well trained scientist)
• Prefer someone who had some pharma background

More Junior level (BS or BA is fine)
This person does not need to have had publications experience but can manage a work flow and think of these aspects as deliverables to get timelines etc put through and communicated.
Poster – presented at the meeting
Track the progress of the deliverables (understand where the bottlenecks are and write them) Help to edit some documents (editor, QC) Manage timelines (need an outspoken personality) Looking for someone from pharma background for both roles (vs. agency background) Positions has to be onsite 5 days a week

Job Title:

This person will start off in the commercial group with QCing, editing, and proofreading standard documents/data for a few weeks and branch off into clinical.
No need for commercial or clinical experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Literature/English or Scientific (both okay) Must be on-site 5 days/week
