Job Description:
Hunter College’s Center for Translational and Basic Research (CTBR)* is seeking a professional freelance science writer to cover its 2014 Annual International Symposium entitled “Bioinformatics: Medical Applications” which will take place on Thursday, May 29, 2014.

We seek an experienced writer to generate and edit text for the introduction, overview, individual talks and open question sessions of ten speaker presentations. The qualified candidate must understand complex scientific information. S/he must be able to translate these topics into clear, concise, and accurate language that appeals to a general audience. Knowledge in the areas of research in bioinformatics and excellent editing and writing skills are essential.

We will provide recordings of the speakers’ presentations.
