SWINY’s ANNUAL FEBRUARY PARTY
When:
Tuesday, February 25, 6 to 9 pm
Where:
Pete’s Tavern (129 E 18th St) on Irving Place—the oldest continuously operating bar and restaurant in NYC (buffet dinner, open bar)
This year’s February-born scientist is Havelock Ellis, MD. The innovative Brit—who pioneered the modern approach to studying human sexuality—would have been 155 on February 2. Quite the antithesis of the Victorian culture he lived in, Ellis said:
“Sex lies at the root of life, and we can never learn to reverence life until we know how to understand sex.”
The theme makes for some fun favors and door prizes!
FAVOR: Everyone gets a lovely container of Before-and-After Sex Mints
PRIZES: Eat Me granola bars, Pink Freud pill box, Besos y Abrazos mug and t-shirt, Shut Up and Kiss Me mug, Squeeze Me t-shirt…and more.
