Science Writers in New York is pleased to kick off 2025 with a talk by teacher and author Susan Shapiro (@susanshapironet), an award-winning writer and professor who freelances for The New York Times, New York Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post. Her first talk with SWINY—”How To Get Published in Five Weeks”—broke attendance records.
Susan will talk to SWINY co-chair David Levine (@dlloydlevine.bsky. social) about how you can seal the deal and get published. As Susan noted in her book The Book Bible hundreds of thousands of books come out every year worldwide. So why not yours?
Joining Susan will be several writers who will tell how they sealed the deal and got their book published.
